Hot on the heels of his exhibition at the galerie agnès b. in Hong Kong, Abdelkader Benchamma is showing a new and very finely executed set of drawings, frescoes and installations at the galerie du jour. Whether in felt tip and gouache, or ink, these pictures are produced without prior sketches and have all the flow associated with writing.
Abdelkader Benchamma’s name became known through the exhibition Draw ! held at the galerie du jour in 2002, and he has since taken part in many exhibitions both in France and abroad.
